Kano, Nigeria – In a bold move and swift responds to foster peace and unity
aftermath the nationwide protests in Kano and across the country, Governor Abba
Yusuf of Kano State has inaugurated a groundbreaking initiative that will bring
about a new era of citizen’s engagement.
We are pleased

Voice Cup competition. These initiatives are designed to create a platform
for dialogue, engagement, and constructive action, ensuring that the voices of
all citizens are heard and respected.
Citizens
Townhall Meeting
The Citizens
Townhall Meeting will be a series of open forums held to provide a safe and
structured environment where citizens can express their concerns, share ideas,
and collaborate with local and national leaders on solutions to the pressing
issues facing our state and nation.
Key objectives
of the Townhall Meeting include:
- Promoting Dialogue: Fostering open and honest communication between citizens and
government officials.
- Identifying Solutions: Working together to develop actionable solutions to the
challenges highlighted during the protests.
- Building Trust: Strengthening the relationship between the government and the
people through transparency and accountability.
Citizens
Voice Cup
In conjunction
with the Townhall Meeting, we are also launching the Citizens Voice Cup
competition. This initiative aims to harness the unifying power of sports to reassure
citizens, especially the youth that their demands are heard by the government
